with Revs. Deb and Paul Phelps LESSON 106-Let me be still and listen to the truth. Keys to this Lesson In the first paragraph Jesus shares with beauty what this lesson is all about: If you will lay aside the ego's voice, however loudly it may seem to call; if you will not accept its petty gifts that give you nothing that you really want; if you will listen with an open mind, that has not told you what salvation is; then you will hear the mighty Voice of truth, quiet in power, strong in stillness, and completely certain in Its messages. Today it is simple. Be still and listen. Jesus says this many times in this lesson and it is our hint to do as he has asked us. Go past all of the distractions in your mind and be still and listen to what the Holy Spirit has to say to you today. Exercise 5 minutes an hour Begin with: I will be still and listen to the truth. What does it mean to give and to receive? Ask and expect an answer. Your answer may come with a sense of peace or feeling! of love. With each 5 minutes we spend today, Jesus tells us that a thousand minds are opened to the truth. Do not forget today to reinforce your choice to hear Holy Spirit, say this as often as possible today: Let me be still and listen to the truth. I am the messenger of God today, My voice is His, to give what I receive. ***Please also see our other Workbook videos/audios that feature the Lesson read to you and our insights as received from Holy Spirit with our journaling process in 2005-2006.
